Hey everyone, and welcome to Week 92!
Today’s puzzle is brought to you kinda on a bet.
Although I’ll disappoint Evan by not having the entire puzzle as links, our three theme entries do, two of which is I think may be a debuts, and I’m mighty proud of that.
Our next puzzle at Chris Words probably won’t be based on a Twitter conversation. But don’t put it past me.
Enjoy!
Chris
happy to play my part!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Erik Agard publish a puzzle in which a lot of clues (maybe just the theme clues; I don’t remember very well) were links to short YouTube clips?

You might be talking about this glorious one: http://gluttonforpun.blogspot.com/2014/09/crossword-number-111-mix-and-match-ft.html
Or this tour-de-force: http://gluttonforpun.blogspot.com/2016/06/puzzle-203-clip-show.html
Either way, this type of nonsense has been perfected by Erik, and I genuinely hope I didn’t accidentally borrow from his playbook.

Thanks for pointing me at those (I’m sure I must have solved Clip Sjow at some point, but since I don’t bother with metas anymore, I never saw the payoff until just now).
I suspect I was thinking of Crowd Pleaser. Unfortunately, the site that puzzle resided at, videoxword.com, appears to have turned into a Japanese blog, so I can’t confirm this.
Oh, well. Thanks for trying, and for pointing me at a couple of puzzles I’d forgotten about.

Hi Chris – I know I’m a lot late, but I just found your site a month ago. Tried the puzzle referenced, loved it, and resolved to do ’em all from day one, in reverse Archive order. I will catch up.
Anyway, This puzzle was so much fun to solve, learning a few new things along the way. When I was done I went and viewed the tinyurl’s. I think I’d even seen 28A.
